"Find The
Alternate Water Or Bio Fuel System That Suits You And Reduce Your Fuel Costs?"
But Can You Do Something With Alternate Fuels?
In July 2005, it was reported an American mechanic
released the details of his simple conversion system which allows an
ordinary car to use water as the only fuel. Since no further
details have since been forthcoming it was assumed that it must have
been a hoax.
However It has since been reported that a similar
system was developed by an inventor in Scotland that was
demonstrated to the Automobile Association and reportedly shown on
Scottish Television, the car demonstrated was used on a daily basis
was a 1978 Chev Camaro with a stock 350 engine without any computer
and a stock 4 barrel carburettor coupled to an automatic
transmission. This system was very similar to that of Larry Meyers,
who has since died, though there are those who think otherwise.

CAN THESE
REPORTS REALLY BE TRUE?
Well those enthusiasts
of Stock Car building and racing know that it could be. For years water
injection has been used to give added power.
I have a 1977 Ford GT with
a extensively worked Cleveland motor with a water injection system,
sitting in my garage right now. It has long been known that your
engine performs better in high humidity or just before it rains.
These are scientific facts and these power boosting systems can be
found at any drag strip. Also hydrogen is the chosen fuel for rocket
propelled space vehicles, but we want to be sure that what we put into
a $70,000 vehicle will not cause any damage, hence most of the
experiments I have seen are on older vehicles. Though some of these programs
claim to work on fuel injected vehicles.
HHO Booster
say you can
But is it possible to
run your car on Hydrogen made from water. Well Water4Gas and
other people
claim to be able to provide you with the information you need to
convert you car right now and save heaps of money in the process.
So lets examine some of
the characteristics of Hydrogen. Firstly it has a rather relatively
high auto ignition temperature associated with a small quenching
distance. Which means that running a pure hydrogen powered engine
would have complications like premature ignition because of a
differing temperature range. Hydrogen is difficult to ignite under
compression but has a high flame speed than that of gasoline.
Hydrogen has a high
diffusivity thus the ability to disperse in air again is greater
than gasoline. This is advantageous for a couple of reasons mainly;
it allows for a easier formation of a uniform mixture of fuel and
air and if a Hydrogen leak occurs , the hydrogen disperses rapidly
therefor avoiding or minimizing any unsafe conditions.
Hydrogen has a very low
density this gives a problem when used in an internal combustion
engine. Firstly a large volume is necessary to store, so as to give an
extended driving range and the energy density of hydrogen-air in
mixture reduces the power output.

The systems you will
read about here are not pure hydrogen systems , instead they are based on a gasoline/hydrogen mix, introduced into the air
inlet. I have seen claims of up to 50% in savings.
